1. Data Collected
During platform registration, name, surname, email, phone number, and address information are collected. For carriers, additional license, vehicle registration, and company information are required. Location data, transaction history, and device information may be automatically collected during platform use.
2. Use of Data
Collected data is used for service delivery, user verification, communication, payment processing, security measures, service improvement, and fulfilling legal obligations. Your data is never shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored encrypted on secure servers located in Turkey. Data is retained during the service period and within legal retention periods. Upon account deletion request, your personal data is deleted within 30 days.
4. Account and Data Deletion Requests
You can initiate an account deletion request in the mobile app from Profile > Account Information > Account Status > Request Account Deletion, or on the web at https://yukjet.com/en/hesap-silme. After the request is received, new shipment, bid, and operational actions are paused. If the account has active shipments, payments, disputes, or company authority, completion of deletion may wait until those processes are closed. Personal data without a legal retention requirement is deleted or anonymized; records that must be retained by law are kept only for the required period and limited purpose.
5. Data Sharing
Your data is only shared with: parties necessary for shipping service (between driver and sender), authorized institutions when legally required, and licensed financial institutions for payment processing. All sharing is conducted in compliance with data protection regulations.
6. User Rights
Under data protection law, you have the rights to access, correct, delete, object to processing, data portability, and complaint. You can exercise these rights by contacting support@yukjet.com.
7. Cookies
Cookies are used on our platform for session management, preference saving, and analytics purposes. You can manage your cookie preferences from browser settings or our cookie management panel.
8. Security Measures
We protect your data with SSL/TLS encryption, two-factor authentication (2FA), regular security audits, data minimization, and access control. Users are notified within 72 hours of any security breach.
9. Policy Changes
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. You will be notified of significant changes via email and in-platform notification. You reserve the right to close your account if you do not accept the updated policy.
